Where are my fishing-loving dads?
This blog post is for you! Grab a cup of coffee and your favorite fishing spot sit down and relax under the tree and give this a read.
David Kee many of you know him or heard of him. He is a Franklin County, Missouri local. David Kee is the owner of BEET JIGS.
David started the business because the special eye design he created made it easier and faster for fishermen to tie through the eye. After taking off with the jig heads he decided to make his soft plastics lures as well.
If you are wondering what BEET JIGS stands for, it stands for Big Eye Easy Tie. David has increased the eye size to make it easier to tie.
David thought of the jig head design back in 2016. David started making models back then to see if they would withstand and hold up to become a strong product for other fishermen and fisherwomen. David put the business in motion in 2020.
At this time David makes Custom Big Eye Easy Tie (BEET) Jigs and now soft plastics.
I can tell you that the soft plastic is beautifully designed as I have photographed and touched these items.
I believe most older guys or gals will love these if they have eyesight challenges or love the bigger eye for tying. However, this is also a great tool for teaching young ones to tie. This will keep your younger fisher kids happy and proud as this helps them to become better and less frustrated getting it to work.
David doesn’t want to leave out all those who help at the fishing expos., each of these fine people help with package and so much more. David’s friend Brad Farrell is actually co-owner of part of the soft plastics.
If you have any questions I suggest reaching out to David himself on Facebook or his website.
While you are on Facebook give David a like or follow and support one of our locals. You will also be able to follow David to the events where he will showcase “BEET JIGS”.
