Why book the first birthday photos? Let me give you a short answer first, Why not? My professional opinion. To document and have photos of your little one during the stage of their life. This is a milestone that you will not want to forget and as your little one grows up they will ask what their experience was when they turned one.

When thinking about this milestone for your child, you may wonder what you want to plan for your their first birthday. Do you want to have a celebration with family and friends and document with your phone or a camera that you have? Maybe you wish to hire a lifestyle photographer who comes to you and takes photos of the event or do you want to plan a photos session in a photo studio, maybe you want both? I have schedule some traditional photos and some not so traditional. With each photo session I had the honor of being apart of where memorable.

You can schedule the traditional cake smash, When booking with me as long as your little one does not have any allergies I will order a cake. If you prefer to bake the cake or you have a baker that you want to work with you are welcome to buy your own cake.

Does your little one (pun intended) have a yummy favorite food? Let them smash around in the studio and enjoy the taste they will not forget. We have a bathroom with a tub for you to wash them up and have them ready for a nap. It is a hard job to get photos taken and this milestone photo session and is sure to make them tired.

Have you not introduced solid foods yet, Are you worried about what they will do with food in front of them and are unsure if you want to offer foods. No worries. We could offer several different photos that are still fun for your little.

As long as your little is not allergic to latex we can hang balloons and see if they want to sit and pose for the photos or go wild with their balloons.
