Hey friends! I took a few photos of some of our client closet maternity dresses/gowns. What is a client closet you might be asking yourself? Let me tell you. My client closet is dresses and maternity gowns that my clients get to wear during our photo session.
I want to add to your experience with me. Before your maternity session with me, I will send you a questionnaire to see if you will be doing a maternity session for you and your baby to be or will you be bringing your family along to your session. This helps prep me to ask my next question.
Family will be joining you. What color will your family be wearing? Do you need suggestions? From here we can coordinate your dress with what your family will be wearing.
Are you wanting to do a glamour maternity session? This session is for you. You may want to get your hair and makeup done. I will offer you two of my maternity gown/dresses.
Once we sit and discuss what your family will be wearing we will talk about how to prepare for your maternity session.
A few tips I offer will be.
Let’s discuss a location. Maybe a place you always wanted your photos taken. What about a place that brings you happiness. I always suggest a few places as well just incase you do not have any options or really do not have a specific place in mind.
2 weeks before your session we will schedule a time and day during the week for you to join me in the studio. We will see what style gown you want to try on. You will then try on the gowns/dresses you have selected and find the one that fits your style perfectly.
one week from our session I suggest getting a fresh coat of nail polish on your nails. I suggest a neutral color and nothing bold as we do not want to take away from your baby bump.
Below are a few of my maternity gowns. As I get more in I will add to this blog. If you prefer to purchase and bring a gown/dress of your own no worries, I am always up to see what my clients purchase for their maternity session. I absolutely love the mommy and me gowns that other shops are coming out with.

Many of our maternity gown/dresses can be worn on your shoulders or off your shoulders. We also have a black coat for those who are booking in the winter months. We do offer in studio maternity sessions as well if you choose to stay warm in the winter months or cool in the summer months. I also have a vintage tub for our summer sessions.
